National Cancer Research Network

Image: National Cancer Research Network The National Cancer Research Network (NCRN) oversees 32 regional research networks across England. The role of the NCRN is to help imporve the NHS infrastructure to support clinical research and to integrate it into patients cancer care. The NCRN is overseen by the Department of Health since its creation in April 2001. National Cancer Research Institute

Image: NCRI National Cancer Research Institute was set up in 2001 to develop a scheme for Cancer Research which would avoid the unneccessary duplication of efforts in the management of cancer research. This organisation involves the partnership of government, charity and industry - forming 21 of the member organisations who work together for the benefit of patients the public and the scientific community.
